Tuesday’s Social Event opened the current exhibit, Favorites. The set of images above represent the 34 photos that were selected form the 100+ that were submitted.  The collection represents our favorite things – items or places that we love. 

The photos are displayed as part of aa back-lit photographic installation that is a permanent fixture at Tuesday, with new and regular updates of imagery set for the future.  To achieve the back-lit aesthetic we were looking for the images were printed on semi-transparent paper, mounted onto plexiglass. The glass was then placed onto custom made wooden box frames which housed compact fluorescent bulbs. The boxes were arranged in tight clusters across three walls in the lobby of Tuesday Creative. The illumination from the back lighting pulls out the highlights and rich colors featured in the photos, making for a spectacular presence when you enter the lobby.
